We are proud to present you our new production facility. It’s located very close to the belt highway of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

That is very convenient for us, since our headquarters is also stationed in this beautiful (if we say so ourselves) Dutch city. We are also currently setting up a warehouse in the United States, but the assembly of our kits will be done in Amsterdam. If Infento really catches on in the world (which we hope!) we also plan to open an assembly facility in the US. But for 2016 and 2017 the new location will be large enough to handle all incoming orders.

Our new facility is a building with two floors. The first floor has an area of approximately 750 square meters (8.000 square feet).

The first floor will be our “clean” area. What can you find on this floor when we it’s finished?

• Two small offices
• Meeting room
• Folding area for all the boxes of our kits
• Area for combining various parts (shock braker, brakes, handlebar)
• Canteen

We already stored a lot of Infento parts on the ground floor at our new facility as you can see in the pictures below. This is what it currently looks like:

The ground floor has an area of 915 square meters (9.850 square feet). Large enough for the assembly of some serious quantities of kits!

What kind of activities are we planning to do on the ground floor? This is what we have planned to do there:

• Handling of incoming parts
• Storage of incoming parts
• Work on aluminum profiles (sowing, laser coding, tapping)
• 20 meter order picking line (getting all the parts in the right boxes)
• Outbound warehouse

We plan to move most machinery to our new location in the coming two weeks. Currently we are assembling and producing parts in our smaller facility for the Kickstarter orders and the new pre orders. We have a good game plan in place to
make the transition as fast as possible so we don’t lose time. We will keep making our education kits at the old facility and at the new location we will produce all our kits for the consumer market. 

The new facility is a very important step in the company development of Infento! It’s a storage, assembly facility, office and warehouse in one. And with 1.700 square meters (18,000 square feet) it’s large enough to handle some real hockey stick growth in the coming two years!
